Meatball came to PPR from MCAS (Multnomah Co Animal Control) - he was found as a stray (and was a plump 34lbs!) Hard to believe he was a stray. He found a delightful home in the Seattle area with his pug brother Nigel. Below is a snippet from his new mom (Meatball is on the right, svelte Nigel is on the left):
The dogs and I have settled into a fun weekend morning thing -- I get up early, come down with baseball cap on and we go for a walk around the neighborhood. Back home, I make coffee and watch the morning news while they play, play, play! Once they're tired out, I can sneak back upstairs and shower while they snooze :) It's great --- it gets me out to see what new bulbs are coming up in the neighborhood and the dogs obviously love it! Nigel is even learning how to walk on the leash much better -- Meatball must be setting a good example! I even had a lady who was driving one of those Cabulance vans honk and give me the thumbs up yesterday!! She was smiling and pointing at the dogs :)
No complaints at all -- we're so happy we did this. Two pugs is definitely better than one!
