“Tanner, a true gentleman, was not immediately attached to us, although we very much are with him. He missed his previous owner a great deal, and sadly she had passed away. He merely acknowledged us for the first few days, then one day we came home and he was so excited to see us we knew he’d finally accepted us as his new family. Tanner lost his excess weight with ease by vigorously playing with his many toys, taking his bed up and down the stairs, and getting very excited and running in circles when the words “walk” or “ride” are mentioned.
