Sadly, Mickey has recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge. During his last months he was showered with love and affection from his adoptive family. We will all miss Mickey.

Mickey is a funny old man - but still full of love. He came into PPR blind, diabetic with an old heart and a large benign tumor on his chest. He quickly proved to have a sense of humor and an extreme dislike for having his toenails done. He found a wonderful home with a large extended family. He spends his days relaxing and his nights on the bed. Here is a note from his new home: I think Mickey is doing great with his new friends. He loves garbage cans and all the food he finds within them, he also loves being outside and sleeping till all hours of the day with Emily.
