We waited a long time to adopt a dog- we wanted to make sure we were stable enough. We just bought our first house and knew the timing was right. Within 3 months of owning the new house, we got Pearl. She is perfect! I tell my fiance that now he is the second most adorable thing in the world and he tells me the same :). The only hard part is leaving her to go to work. She has enhanced our lives in so many ways that already we couldn't imagine life without her!
