Marty
When Carter told me about a cute old man pug looking for a home down in Washington, he insisted I check him out. I was thinking, "I see a lot of cute dogs every day, what is the big deal?"but Carter was right, there was something special about Marty. If ancient and dishevelled was your type, then Marty had it down to a science. Apparently, this something about him led me to checking out Marty's profile pretty obsessively, and filling out an application. Who would have guessed? It was not like Carter or I needed another dog. We have 2 dogs each; I am madly in love with Pit Bulls and am usually fostering one; and Carter has numerous small animals- we have two busy households!

So long story short, a gem of a one-eyed, wonky-legged, formerly black-coloured (now primarily gray) pug named Marty has come to retire in Canada. He excels at the sports of sleeping, chewing on bones, and finding good spots to pee. He is funny, and very endearing. He thinks that we are a tad young for him, but I believe he is starting to find perks in his seniority. He gets the best spot on the couch, and the humans obey his every whim! He definitely has Carter wrapped around his paws!

Thank-you to Pacific Pug Rescue for taking Marty in, loving him for all he is, and most of all for allowing a couple of wayward Canadians to adopt him!

Sam, Carter, Marty, Noli, Cleo, Milhouse, Daphne, and quite a few small animals!
