McCauley’s Lady Penelope, “Penny”

April 28, 1997- June 7, 2008

We lost our sweet Penny last year. Penny was 11 years old and her quality of life had begun to diminish. Her sight and hearing were nearly gone and she seemed to be getting slower and slower and prone to infections and ailments. But she always popped back and always kept her sweet disposition. She was the gentlest of dogs and was loved by many. Rachel and Merwin referred to her, as “Bulldog” and “B’dog” and they were as gentle and respectful with her as she was with them. Penny gave us 11 years of love and companionship and her passing took a piece of our hearts with her.

Penny’s ashes will be placed in a memory garden at the Harbor House so we can keep her close in our hearts always.
