To our Malibu:



You were our first bulldog and our first baby. No one could have loved you more. Thank goodness you were rejected by others so that you could come into our lives and bring joy to us. We spent hours just looking at you and those funny faces you could make. You spent hours tormenting us with your "talking," demanding who knows what. Probably food, since that was your first great love. Your second was sleeping-especially between us so you could force us to the outer rim of the bed while you hogged the middle. But my favorite position was with you resting your head on my shoulder, encircled by my arm. So even with that gruff exterior, and your aggressive tendencies, you found a soft spot for us. You were our growly girl, and we will always miss you.
