Tootsie

For many of us having a pet means the world to us. To me being a part of Tootsie's life was my world. She was my first English bulldog who I adopted through Pacific Coast Bulldog Club on December 2, 2000. She was a spunky girl who knew when she entered my home that day that she also entered my heart. She was the sun that shine in my home, and she was my advisor as well. When I had a problem I would sit near her and tell her what was going on. I knew she understood and with her looks on her adorable face she always knew how to lead me. Tootsie was the one that even when I was having a bad day she knew how to make my day brighter. I always told my husband that she was the exception, she would live forever. Of course I knew I was only lying to myself. The day she passed away in her sleep I was out of town which I feel happened because she didn't want me to see her gone and hurt even more. But the pain of not being there with her is unbearable. As mothers we want to be with our children whenever they need us. Her little body is gone now but her ashes and her memories will be with me forever. So to my dear Tootsie, until we meet again, Thank you for being the best!!
